There’s a hole in my pocket I just can’t fix;

Valentino in black and white in that famous love scene.

Now just like then words are useless don’t you see

What you can’t say tells it all to me

I close my eyes to see you, hear your whisper in my ear

Up to open up the window, let some air in here.

It’s so cold when I think of you, my breath hangs in the frost

Still you know I’m thinkin’ that love’s worth the cost

I know there’s beauty there, ‘cause we’ve played our own love scenes;

always heat and sparks flyin’ in between.

The best we had baby on the cutting floor was lost
